Electric power Industry: Vibration Monitoring of a Gas Turbine Generator
The DiBOX vibration monitoring tool was used to observe the condition of the bearings in a diesel-powered generator at a household chemical plant belonging to a multinational corporation. Measurement information was transmitted to the automation system via a Modbus/TCP interface. Fields showing the current vibration speed of the bearing housings have been added to the existing synoptic screen. This data was also stored in the system database.
